A vintage image of a partial compensation suit displayed on a woman’s dress form sparked a deeper reflection on visibility and representation. Growing up near a military base in China, the sound of daily training became a quiet reminder of discipline and power. These inspirations informed a collection that reimagines structured, uniform-like garments with sculptural flares, using techniques like lacing and custom print to highlight contrast, softness, and assertion. Through materiality and form, the collection celebrates feminine strength and challenges traditional roles by reclaiming space both visually and symbolically.
